Bauma 2025 Wrap up

The coating is scratched and a little rusty, dirt and worn tools sitting on the cutter soil mixing wheel - an eyecatcher among the usually polished and dustfree show equipment on Bauma's over 550.000 square meter exibition area. Two small sign's telling the visitor, what's new here: it's the first fully electric cutter soil mixing head - just out of the field test at Bauers Aresing Testsite. After elaborate test stand approval the ultimate run happend a few weeks ago when cutting through Aresings soil 20 meters into the deep - one column after the other. The dates on display: 2 x 200 kW power delivered directly in den middle of the cutting wheel, speed up to 40 rpm - at an impressive high rate of system efficiency. The 690-V-electric cutter head proved feasible for every day construction site business, reducing energy consumption while speeding up business.
