Bauer Trade Show 2023
Five years after the last event the 2023 Bauer Trade Show draw the attention of more than 1.500 regional, national, and international visitors. Among the show, which focussed on product innovations in soil mixing, drilling rigs and tunneling equipment the Deep Sea Sampling Project could present their first concepts and prototypes for both electrification and tool changing automation. The e-gear was displayed for the first time as an open-side prototype, allowing visitors a short glimpse into the inner design of the gear. Segmented models of tool changer concepts demonstrated, what general ideas to switch worn-out tools quickly in the total darkness at 2.500 m depth were developed and evaluated during project work.
