3rd DSS Milestone Meeting at LMT Rostock
The third milestone meeting took place at LMT Rostock on Jan, 25th 24. Initially, during morning sessions, all partners showed the state of progress in short presentations, while the afternoon was dedicated to discussions about next steps, soil simulation, and testing of models and equipment on site. With news coverage from NDR media the model of the lander unit took a deep dive in LMTs brand new test tank, landing as expected. Sensors developed for the project were tested submerged, deliviring stable signals during the entire procedure. Also, a functional prototype of the tool changer concept was tested, and triggered discussions for next development steps.
